Overview
These terms apply to all customers who purchase services from LocalCalendar.io, whether through our website, invoice, or any direct agreement. By signing up or submitting payment, you agree to the following terms.
Setup and First Payment
The first month’s payment is non-refundable and covers the setup and initial configuration of your LocalCalendar account and event ingestion system.
Setup begins once payment is received.
Recurring Billing
Services are billed on a monthly or annual recurring basis, depending on the plan you select.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 15 days before the next billing cycle.
You may cancel at any time by emailing our Support team. Service will continue through the end of your current billing period.
Refund Policy
Aside from the non-refundable first payment, refunds are not guaranteed and may be issued at our discretion.
We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time.
Third-Party Fees
You are responsible for any third-party fees, including charges resulting from bot activity or fraudulent attempts on external systems such as Stripe, Mailchimp, or other connected services.
We recommend enabling fraud prevention and rate limiting on any forms or payment systems you operate outside LocalCalendar.
Custom Development
Requests for custom features, integrations, or development work must be quoted separately and may be declined at our discretion.
You may work with outside developers at any time. You are not required to use our development services.
Site Integration and Licensing
You may disconnect or migrate your website or CMS at any time.
Licenses for third-party tools or services used within our platform do not transfer if you migrate away. To continue receiving updates or support for those tools, you must purchase licenses from the vendors directly.
Uptime and Access
We aim to maintain 99.9 percent uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control.
We are not responsible for downtime caused by hosting providers, third-party integrations, outages, or force majeure events.
Data Usage
By connecting tools such as WordPress, Stripe, Mailchimp, or Google, you grant LocalCalendar.io permission to access the data required to operate and update your events calendar.
We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data internally to improve our services.
Termination
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate service if a client engages in disruptive, abusive, or harassing behavior toward our staff, contractors, or other clients. This includes threats, offensive language, unreasonable demands, or actions that interfere with our ability to deliver services.
We may disable access immediately in these situations. Any prepaid fees for unused time may be refunded at our discretion.
Terms Updates
These terms may be updated. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app message.
Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
